This year, the main focus is on Climate Justice issues, where finding solutions requires the cooperation of the climate movement and the international Open Access community. Knowledge sharing is a human right, and addressing the climate crisis requires rapid knowledge sharing across geographic, economic and sectoral boundaries.
The annual International Open Access Week is a time when people, institutions and organizations around the world celebrate, learn, discuss, exchange experiences about open access to scientific research publications, data and other results, about open science practices, about knowledge exchange issues, about openness in research and in society. The Library of the University of Latvia (LU) and the OpenAIRE National Open Access Desk in Latvia also invite you to online events.
