The Library of UL and ProQuest announces the seminar about the databases of video, e-books and dissertations

The Library of the University of Latvia (UL) in collaboration with the ProQuest company organizes the seminar about the Alexander Street (ProQuest)* research tools and ProQuest E-book Central and ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis databases. The seminar will be held on 24th of April at the Library of UL at Kalpaka Boulevard.
The Library of UL in collaboration with the ProQuest company kindly invites to the seminar "Serendipity and Research – data mining and interdisciplinarity in the humanities". The Alexander Street specialist Francesca Petricca will give the introduction to the Alexander Street collections and research tools, which are more focused on humanities and social sciences. The other representative Juri Valla (ProQuest Sales manager in Baltics and Finland) will inform about the actualities in the ProQuest databases E-book Central and ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis subscribed for UL. The theme of the seminar brings together the students and researchers of UL to find out about the informative possibilities in studies and scientific research.
