UL provides access to 66 different types of e-resources (databases, individual e-journals, study and research tools), comprising around 264 000 titles in total. Most of the subscribed e-resources can be accessed both on-campus and off-campus by logging in with your ULIS username and password. The range of subscribed, free/open and trial access e-resources and links to them can be found on the UL Library website.

You are welcome to use the search engine PRIMO as well. It allows you to search a broader set of information resources – online databases, databases created by UL, and the electronic union catalogue.
Many databases add a few new resources to their collections each year. We would like to highlight the databases with new collections or additional content added in 2025.
Oxford Journals Online – a multidisciplinary database of full-text journals; 2025 collection. More than 370 authoritative journals published between 1996 and 2025 in collaboration with the world's leading scientific organizations. The 2025 collection adds 9 new journals in Life sciences (Fisheries, Journal of Aquatic Animal Health, North American Journal of Aquaculture, North American Journal of Fisheries Management, Transactions of the American Fisheries Society), Mathematics and physical sciences (Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management), Medicine (The Journal of Immunology) and Social sciences (Annals of the International Communication Association). SAGE Journals – a multidisciplinary database of full-text journals; 2025 SAGE Journals Premier Collection with Read & Publish option. Access to over 1600 journal articles published since 1999. 88 new journals added in 2025. Full list of journals 2025.
Passport – company’s Euromonitor International online market research tool; new content added at the end of 2024: Sustainability (for identifying and measuring sustainability claims) and Innovation (for tracking the life cycle of new products). The database is available for students and staff of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences.
